ASTER is named for the star-shaped flower, and it draws the eye just the same. An asymmetric bodice builds into a voluminous sculptural ruffle at the shoulder, while a slim skirt keeps the silhouette balanced.
ASTER sets soft vertical rows of blush chiffon petals down the length of a fitted satin column dress, bare at one shoulder. Each row is individually hand-sewn from collar to hem, so the petals catch movement differently row by row rather than as a single fixed surface.
